SOLID WORKS Sterling Machine is equipped with the most efficient and up-to-date tools for designing, engineering and altering parts efficiently and accurately such as Solidworks complimented with Cosmos Suite. By utilizing this three dimensional software, our team has unlimited capabilities like designing and altering components within an assembly easily and still ensure optimal fit while avoiding errors. Our assemblies can move, have complex surfaces and shapes, be used directly to generated bill of materials or 2D drawings, and we’ve eliminated guesswork by using truly associative dimensions.

COSMOS SUITE is three separate programs that all work inside Solidworks as analysis tools. COSMOSWorks deals with linear and no linear stress, frequency, buckling, thermal, drop testing , fatigue and optimization. COSMOSFloWorks is for computational fluid dynamics. The third program, COSMOSMotion, is used to simulate motion. Cosmos, Solidworks and the SMT design team are an unstoppable combination.

GIBBS We also utilize the latest software from GIBBSCAM. This CAD/CAM system insures quality right from the start. We are able to import a large variety of cad formats directly into the software which uses the exact part specifications in our programming process. This eliminates many interpretation errors that can occur with redrawing a part.
