CNC Machining

Large Turning:

Our 360” center-to-center lathe with a 40" chuck compliments our ability to handle long parts. Our 120” center-to-center lathe also has a 40" chuck to do large turning. Our CNC Lathe with a 30” swing is great for precision or production parts.

Certified Welding:
AWS and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section IX

Our capabilities include mig, tig, and stick welding in carbon and stainless steel, as well as other metals like hasteloy, C276, aluminum, and cast iron. Our certified welders can do large part welding also.

Machine Building:

Sterling Machine has a division that designs and builds custom rotary molding machines. Our crew is experienced in all aspects of the building process. Their abilities allow them to construct other machines to the customer’s specifications. Our experienced service team is ready to be on-site to help with all your building and assembly needs.

Polishing:

At Sterling Machine we strive to accommodate our customer’s needs, including some secondary operations. Mechanical polishing is one of the requirements that some of our customers must have done to complete a job. Since we provide services like this, Purchasing Agents can eliminate the extra time and cost of sending parts to another vendor.

Quality Control:

We understand the importance quality plays in the success of our customer’s business. That is why we have an excellent rating with all of our customers. They have confidence in our ability to consistently provide accurate parts. We always strive to meet or exceed each customer's requirements.

At Sterling Machine every job is assigned it’s own inspection process to certify a quality product. This process is adjusted depending on the customer’s required procedures. It takes skilled craftsman to insure quality parts and our machinists work closely with Quality Control to monitor accuracy.
