We have large capacity CNC equipment with up to 148" travel, long turning lathe with a 40" chuck, 360' center-to-center, ASME Certified (Section IX) welding, excellent inspection equipment and many more assets including our very reliable employees, most with over 15 years experience. Our 25,000 square foot temperature controlled facility, helps to insure accuracy, improve machine performance and creates a more comfortable working environment.
Our goal is to operate a job shop where quality prevails because skilled labor is valued and associates work together for the common good.
SMT qualifies as a woman owned business.
Our intent is to operate a company that values the employees and creates a work environment that encourages a team effort for the good of all. An Advisory Board was created to involve key employees in the decision making of the business. They learn how decisions are made. Its purpose is also to instruct and instill in them the desire of the owners for the continuation of the business in the event that they are not able to lead.
